Last Friends - 彼女は戻ってくるから。。。。

24 05 2008

In this high tension, fast paced, story about sex, lies, and domination — Takeru had just confessed his love to Ruka but in the end Ruka turned him down. What’s a man to do?

In retaliation, Ruka can’t deal with the fact that he likes her and instead gets her motorcross trainer to act as her boyfriend. Takeru is hurt by this, but it doesn’t help at that the amusement park he runs into his sister…

… The woman who scarred him mentally and physically.

Michiru notices his apprehension and goes to take care of his wounds, much like how he has done for her.

On Sousuke’s front he tries to go on in his life without Michiru but convinced she’s going to come back to him. When Michiru walks to Sousuke’s place and calls him up, she tells him she wants to break up…

” I don’t think I can be with you “
” Why? Is that your group’s brainwashing?”
” My groups…?”
” They say things to you, brainwashing you against me.”

In the end Michiru tells him that she just can’t continue with him and says good bye, hanging up the phone and walking away. Sousuke doesn’t accept that fact.

In the park Sousuke emos but his new found friend, also his current case, walks up to him and asks him if he has any bread. Sousuke says no but asks about his mom, he said his mom hasn’t came back and he doesn’t remember the last time she came back. Sousuke brings the boy to his home and feeds him curry for the night, they have a conversation with each other about the women in their lives…

” Do you have a mother?”
” No, I don’t… that was a long time ago.”
” Are you married?”
” No, I’m not… But I have a girlfriend.”
” She’s not here though…”
” Yeah. “
” Are you lonely? “
” I’m not lonely…”
” Why? “
” Because she’ll come back to me.”

Call me a sick person, but I loved how those words came from his lips, ” Kanojo wa…. mata modotte kure kara “. Really, I was like, I need more sick sadistic Sousuke…. Everyone is staying in this protective cocoon and I want Sousuke to totally SNAP. Seriously, I am waiting for his SNAPPING moment of epicness. I want shit to hit the fan and everything…. Last Friends needs to go out with a bang.

At the end, Michiru confesses that she thinks she’s attracted to Takeru. I couldn’t really swallow that, I dunno, despite how fucked up Sousuke and Michiru’s relationship is… I ship that pairing in this show. They’re so amazingly pathetic that they just work out for each other and Takeru is just so hopeless that I just like him alone, suffering, with the skeletons in his closet.

But on the other hand, Ruka is PMSing over the fact that Michiru likes Takeru and not her.

… And Sousuke has came one on one with an oncoming training.

Ah, what’s going to happen next….!

GREASY BOYS, I mean, DREAM BOYS: Epic Fight or WTF JUST HAPPENED?

23 05 2008
This musical makes no sense whatsoever.
I mean, Airmyu made sense…. even Tenimyu made sense. Those were like you know, musicals with plot.

Too old to be flippin around on stage it seems

This is like a music with no plot and a bunch of guys singing.
More like KAT-TUN, Kanjani8 just shows up to yell and scream and fight.
Except Yuu, he’s the bad guy.
Not that I care.
He’s hot.

I WILL LIKE TO MAKE LOVE TO YOUR HAIR NOW

But god damn, this musical has no plot whatsoever. Like everyone is dying of something and people getting shanked and dancing and stuff and like yeah…. greasy hair.
Should be renamed KAT-TUN vs Kanjani8: GREASEY BOYS.

Cept Hina, Yoko, Maru, Ohkura, and Yasu. They’re not greasy.
Everyone else is greasy.
Especially Ryo and Jin.

Its like they reinvented the jerrycurl.

Jin also said “fucking” and “cumming”. Obviously this gives a clear indication of what he was “learning” in “America”
いい英語は。。。仁

Jin: I WOULD RAIK TU FAAK U NAO
Hooker Random Chick: Yeah, okay, whatever
Jin: CAN I CUM ON UR FACE
Hooker Random Chick: Yeah, sure, twenty dollars for that service.
Jin: U NICE AMERICAN GIRL.
Hooker Random Chick: Yeah, says the rest of ‘em.

Anyway, I’m gonna finish watching this clusterfuck of a musical.

EDIT: And now, apparently, Kame can jump between buildings in a single leap.

*face to palm*

EDIT #2

[18:34] > this play
[18:34] > just threw away
[18:34] > an entire plot
[18:34] > in one minute
[18:35] > so that entire two hours i was sitting here suffering
[18:35] > was resolved in one minute
[18:35] > THE FUCK PIECE OF SHIT IS THAT?

I just realized. Jin has facial hair. HA HA HA.

Final Thoughts: I ONLY WATCHED THIS FOR THE PIMP NAMED YUU YOKOYAMA BECAUSE THE FIRST FIVE MINUTES PROVED TO BE FAIL REFLECTING WHAT THE NEXT HOUR AND FIFTY-FIVE MINUTES WOULD BE. OTHER THAN THAT, I WANT MY TWO HOURS OF MY LIFE BACK. NOW.

There was some people I did not know from groups like Hey!Say!Jump… I also didn’t pick members over each other if I didn’t really know them. Like I knew them but I didn’t want to pick a list based off of ” who’s cuter than who “. So that’s why I have so many doubles after 18, so whatever after that number doesn’t count because god knows there’s no way in hell I like KAT-TUN over NEWS. I may not like NEWS but I rather listen to them than KAT-TUN. And HSJ managed to rank higher than Kinki Kids, which is funny because I’d pick them over some HSJ kids…. Then again I only know one person from HSJ and that’s Chinen cause he’s the one that sounds like the girl which I waiting for his voice to drop and crack so I can mock the hell out of them even more…. and V6 ranked reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal low, so funny but Tackey and Tsubasa got 55, so lol. Ah well.

Someone commented on my first Last Friends entry. Sorry, I heard album and thought ” album ” because CDs are called ” Albums ” and ” Singles “. I didn’t pay attention well enough, my bad XD

Last Friends Episode 5 - 君に会いたい

8 05 2008

I would like to say that this is the first time ever in watching this show where I actually wanted Michiru to stop listening to Ruka and actually help Sousuke. I don’t know why, I guess because Sousuke just seemed so pathetic that he even had me thinking that he may need more attention than we should give him — Too bad I was wrong by the time Sousuke reverted back to his old crazy ass self.

Michiru does help Sousuke in the first half of the episode, but constantly reminding him that she is helping him and that she’ll never go back to him unless he changed his ways. They part ways, after when Sousuke actually allowed Michiru to live her life. Yes, he actually let her go. He never called her, never waited for her outside the store, and did not go looking for her.

Last Friends - 愛が止めないし

4 05 2008

In episode 4 of Last Friends, we’ve reached the climbing climax of Michiru and Sousuke’s relationship.

Michiru comes to the Share House that Ruka and her friends live, crying for help while battered and bruised. Her face is swollen and cut and everyone is in complete shock. They take her into the kitchen where Takeru takes care of her injuries and Ruka confronts her about Sousuke.

She tells her what she’s told her all this time, that its not love if there’s pain. Unwilling, Michiru finally gives into the Ruka’s reasoning. She’s caught and doesn’t know what to do. She loves Sousuke and he’s given her more security than what her family has ever done and yet he’s given her more pain imaginable.

Ruka wants to help her but she’s caught between her feelings for her and her friendship. Quickly, Michiru begins to settle into the share house, making friends with everyone and enjoying their presence. She feels at home with them, safe, able to finally enjoy laughing and having fun rather than always in fear of what she should do, how she should do it, and where should she do it.

Yet, despite the fact she has this warm welcoming she can’t keep her mind off of Sousuke. Everytime they mention him, she quickly runs for his defense. ” Sousuke isn’t like that ” she says to them at their hot pot dinner. Everytime they think they have her she slowly drifts to him.

Last Friends - When is it really enough?

30 04 2008

For you guys into the drama scene, the 2008 Spring dramas aren’t really all that appealing except for two dramas IMO — Last Friends and Zettai Kareshi.

I’ve been falling behind on Last Friends due to my job so I decided to catch up, and my god this show is amazing. I haven’t watched a drama that actually inflicted this much emotional response from me since 14sai no Haha, even Watashitachi no Kyoukasho couldn’t get me to react as much as when I watch Last Friends. When I first saw the previews, I didn’t look all that great. It didn’t stand out, but when I actually WATCHED it… my god, it was raw and amazing.

It’s about this girl named Michiru, she just turned 21 (going on 22), and she met the man of her dreams. On her birthday he, Sousuke, invites her to live with him since they’ve been dating for quite sometime. This give Michiru to finally get out of the abusive and run down setting of parent’s small apartment. For the first few days its a happy setting, Michiru and Sousuke act like the ideal couple. She buys things for the house, he works diligently as a social worker for the Children and Familys department for the city government (handling cases about child abuse), and she holds a part time job as an apprentice as a hair stylist in a nice salon in Tokyo.

Music to Get You in the Groove

29 01 2008

You know how we have that saying here, in America, of artists that have probably caused the birth of like half of America such as Barry White, Issac Hayes, etc…?

I have a short but simple list of artists in Japan that I think are helping in the process of getting the Japanese back in the groove again. Well, with a declining population, they need all the help they can get.

1. Skoop on Somebody
The pinnacle of “get it on” songs, this group will literally get you in the mood for some sweet lovin. You don’t even have to know wtf they’re saying in their songs, the vocalist’s tone of voice and the way he sings is enough to get the whole world making out. With songs like ” No make de on the bed “, its pretty much set in stone that this group has only been around to make Japan have hawt sexytiem.

2. Gospellers
They’re an acapella group that could be tied into late Motown groups like Boyz II Men. Their songs are slow, sweet, and sometimes painful. Yet they have this flavor that would easily get you into the groove and at other times get you dancing. Their grasp of the English language is so good they did a few songs with Kirk Franklin. Five guys with so much soul they probably were black in a previous life.

3. Chemistry
Put together commercially, but has enough soul you’d never think so. They’ve had their songs produced by other greats in the R&B industry such as Skoop on Somebody (My Gift to You) and Babyface himself. Their music is more geared towards the younger generation, but still, is helping Japan churn out babies left and right.

So, with that list, you wanna make some babies and wanna do it to some Japanese music — Get music from those artists. You will be making babies by the end of the album.

Oh! Ame oto wa! Can not stop the rain~ No body else can do it dare ni mo tomerenai
